A Gentoo penguin that had sustained a horrific gash with the left shoulder left without muscles and a flap of skin retracted over the shoulder. Anyone of us would be on morphine drip for such an injury but he was preening his feathers! Solid bird! Not sure of his future though, because with no one to feed him he may heal but still not survive.
