Gannets are pretty birds that look like Boobies (the birds, not the anatomical part !) and they fish by diving up to 30 m deep
They are large birds with a wingspan up to 2 m.
To mitigate the impact of their deep dive (at up to 100 km/h) they have no external nostrils (they are internal in the roof of the mouth !), air sac in the face and chest that are compressible, and forward facing eyes for binocular vision.
